Masurica a.d. has been a socially owned enterprise whose prime activities were agriculture and forestry, until 2003 when it was acquired by a group of investors with Mr. Branko Kecman as majority shareholder. Since then it operates as a shareholders company, with its business activities shifted towards renewable energy production from own resources: biomass, geothermal, and wind.

Participant’s Role

Masurica a.d. is in charge to install and operate a wind turbine in Serbia in a complex terrain of Vlasina region, Municipality of Surdulica. With the gained data from the wind measurement and later the operation of this wind turbine Energiewerkstatt and DEWI will be able to compare the situation with both wind turbines located at the other sites in Bosnia & Herzegovina and in Croatia. The results will be part the final report.
