The previous SEEWIND Meeting took place in Belgrade on the 4th and 5th of June 2009. The Assistent Minister for Science emphasised in a personal introduction the importance of the SEEWIND Project for the further expansion of Wind Energy in Serbia.

presentation at EWEC 2009 Mrs. Saskia Bourgeois from Meteotest held a presentation at the EWEC Confrence 2009 in Marseille. Mr Hans Winkelmeier (Energiewerkstatt) and Mrs Saskia Bourgeois (Meteotest) have presented results of the SEEWIND project at last year’s DEWEK conference, which took place in Bremen on the 26th and 27th of November 2008: Abstract Winkelmeier Abstract Bourgeois

On the 13th of October Masurica and IMSI installed a 30m wind measurement system with the help of Energiewerkstatt. The measurement location is located in the Vlasina region at a see level of 1.750 m.

SEEWIND Meeting The 2nd General Assembly Meeting took place in Dubrovnik on the 16th and 17th of October 2008.

Results of the Sodar / Lidar measurement campaign have been presented at this year’s European Wind Energy Conference in Brussels by Meteotest.

Land Concession rights for Podvelez The results about the SODAR and LIDAR measurements have been finalised for the Podvelez and Rudine location. Results are presented at the upcoming SEEWIND meeting.
