SEEWIND Presentation at EWEA in Vienna

GA Meeting Belgrade
The 7th and last General Assembly Meeting of Project SEEWIND took place in Belgrade on the 28th of November 2012.

Project Extension granted
The European Commission formally has agreed to grant a 2nd project extension of additional 18 months. Hence the new project duration is 70 months and the official project end has been shifted to the 19th of March 2013.

General Assembly Meeting Zagreb
The 6th General Assembly Meeting took place in Zagreb on the 3rd and 4th of May 2011. The meeting focused on the remaining tasks of Project SEEWIND and the issues to be accomplished until 19th of September 2011.

Acceptance of EP BiH as new SEEWIND contractor
The Bosnian Company Elektroprivreda BiH has been accepted by the European Commission as an additional SEEWIND Contractor. Due to the sale of Project Mostar to EP BiH, this company now is responsible as the new operator for the project location Podvelez in Bosnia Herzegovina. Vjetroenergetika remains in the Consortium as a research partner.

Visit of Prime Minister at GA Meeting in Sarajevo
The last SEEWIND Meeting took place in Sarajevo on the 1st and 2nd of April 2010. The Prime Minister of the Federation Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mujezinovic, addressed the SEEWIND Consortium in a personal speech and emphasised the importance of Project SEEWIND for his country.

Project Extension granted
Due to the difficult situation regarding project development in Rudine, Mostar and Vlasina, the European Commission has granted a project extension of additional 16 months. Hence, the official end of the SEEWIND Project has been shifted to September 2011.

Installation of Sodar Measurement in Vlasina
On the 14th of August Meteotest installed a SODAR measurement device in Vlasina, which will give information on the vertical wind profile in the project area. Parallel to the installation of Meteotest, Energiewerkstatt erected a 30m measurement mast, which is required for the calibration of the SODAR data.
